We welcome your support in our 2020 Wish Drive in support of the Children’s Cottage Society! 

This marks Royal LePage Benchmark’s 11th Annual Toy Drive for the Children’s Cottage Society in Calgary! This year, not only have we moved online, we have also expanded our support to include the Wheatland Crisis Society in Strathmore, and Big Hill Haven in Cochrane! 100% of the contributions will be directed to these local shelters! 

The Children’s Cottage Society is dedicated to building strong healthy children and safe nurturing families through prevention programs and support services. Some of the programs include a Crisis Nursery, Brenda’s House, Community Respite, Early Years Family Support Program, Home Bridge and Housing Programs. They work with families to increase protective factors and decrease risk factors as a strategy to promote child development, effective and nurturing parenting, and to support and strengthen family functioning. These efforts keep their promise to children, "to help your parents keep you safe so that you can grow up to be healthy and happy.” 

The Wheatland Crisis Society in Strathmore provides safety, shelter, food, clothing, crisis counselling, referral and advocacy for those impacted by family abuse or in crisis. 

The Big Hill Haven in Cochrane & the surrounding area supports families impacted by domestic abuse. All women are welcome. They are committed to ending the cycle of abuse and violence by raising awareness through prevention, intervention, and education.
